Got my hands on a '74 850 'Barn Find'.
Hoping to keep it original but depends what i find underneath!!

Hello Ian, nice to meet you albeit only on line, we would welcome you to come and join us at our next meeting which is the second Wednesday of September from 8.00p.m. onwards, we get together for a chat about everything mini, fixing them swopping ideas and arranging what shows and runs to do, we do not charge for any joining fees and we do not pay subs we organize the runs and just pay for ourselves to go.
We have just got back from Mini in the Park at Santa Pod dragstrip on Sunday a fantastic weekend and one of the best shows I have attended a must for next year.
That 74 of yours looks like a real good find, I prefer the older shelled minis they were made with better steel, I run a 1967 Mk 2 and a clubman estate at the moment but I also have my old 1976 clubman saloon which is having a bit of a refurb at the moment and then hopefully I will be able to start on my Mk1 cooper s replica (historic Rally car)
If you need any spares give me a ring first as I may have some in stock as I have a garage full and they are mainly for older cars anyway but some of the other members carry more modern spares for the latter classic minis
